I’m really not sure where January went! We returned to the boat on January 1st and now it’s January 31st! Once back on the boat we had to deal with all the Bahamas provisions from our failed 2023 Bahamas adventure. There were cans and mason jars everywhere!! We also discovered that the floor of the dry store had dropped out and needed to be fixed. First order of business was to get that dry store fixed so we had some place to put all the…Continue Reading “A Busy January!!”
October 12, Thursday – We left our “Love’s Truck Stop” and headed east on I70. We stopped off in Kansas City, Kansas which is where Stew grew up. We tracked down his old address and neighborhood and spent time driving around checking out all the changes. Stew lived there from birth to until he was about 8 years old (1969-1977). We spent the day driving and stopped in Boonville, MO at a rest stop for the night. Rest areas are far nicer to sleep in,…Continue Reading “Heading to Erie!”

The caller was slurring her words, so much that I could barely understand her… well, that caller was my mother! She was playing doubles ping-pong and went for a shot but instead tripped and landed on the floor breaking her hip, wrist, and elbow. We found out later, that she also lost a large…Continue Reading “God is laughing out loud!”
When last I posted we were in Vero Beach preparing to install the shore charger and head to Cocoa Beach for a few days to deal with all the Bahamas provisions and end up hurricane prepping in Titusville. The shore charger installation went very well, but we could not test it for the few days in CoCoa Beach since we did not pay for shore charging… we did test it in Titusville and it worked perfect! When we were in Coco Beach, we had to…Continue Reading “Our Plan B for spring is a go…”
