About Freedom:

The Freedom 36 is a small recreational keelboat, built predominantly of fiberglass, with wood trim. It has a free-standing fractional sloop rig, an internally-mounted spade-type rudder and a fixed fin keel. With the standard keel it displaces 14,370 lb (6,518 kg) and carries 6,500 lb (2,948 kg) of ballast. With the shoal keel it displaces 13,400 lb (6,078 kg).

  • Each full-length doorframe is formed by a gracefully arched teak laminate of twelve separate layers
